Finals Perfect Line Up

June 20, 2017 | Katie Vickery
Ranking Player Value Points
1 Agustín Merlos $34,000 38.25
2 Tommy Beresford $22,000 26.00
6 Nic Roldan $30,000 19.75
9 James Fewster $11,000 15.25

It is not surprising that the two powerhouses of La Indiana feature in the perfect line up. Despite the loss Agustin Merlos scored a huge 38.25 making him the highest scorer on the day as well as the tournament. Nic Roldan’s score was slightly lower than his average but still high enough to earn him a place in the dream team after a relatively low scoring day of matches on Sunday.

The real hero of the day was Tommy Beresford. Cheap at $22k he scored a massive 26 points thanks to 2 field goals and 13 (the highest number of the final) backhands. This impressive score ranked him second highest scorer on a day when Adolfo Cambiaso, Facundo Pieres AND Gonzalo Pieres were playing. A very impressive feat and a well deserved win for this young player to watch. With this confidence boost he will surely be moving on to earn you big points in the Gold Cup and we suggest that he is a top pick to keep in mind when you make those Gold Cup transfers.

Another young talent who did well and is the only player from the low scoring (both result and Fantasy) subsidiary final was James Fewster. This young pro is on a patron’s value at $11k having come in to the competition halfway through, but it would certainly seem that the King Power Foxes have found their 1 goaler as he has scored 14.25, 23 and 15.25 in the 3 games he has played, higher than any other player off 1 goal. I would be willing to be that “Jimbo” will be the chosen one moving in to the next competition.
