Players to Avoid

Christian “Magoo” Laprida is a talented player who’s play style doesn’t make him a good fantasy play. He averaged 17.1 points per game in the US which is not bad, but if you look at his 4 games in the Open, the point totals are not consistent at all. He scored 13, 6.25, 23.5, 12.5, and 30.25. Yes he finished strong, but he is not a consistent enough scorer to justify putting him in your lineup when you can do much better value at his price tag.

Santiago Toccalino is a tough and defensive player who does not earn big points in Fantasy. Having played back in Argentina for El Paraiso his tournament scores were below average at 46.27 in the Tortugas Open, 92.25 in the Hurlingham Open and 82.25 in the Argentine Open. He is the only player with a $28k value but for $1k more you could have a whole host of players likely to score you’re points: Julian de Lusarreta and Facundo Sola for example show more Fantasy value for just a little more money. If you are tight on budget you have Luke Tomlinson and Juan Gris Zavaleta on $27k both of whom are likely to bring more to the table.
