Here are some players you want to put in your lineup to start the Argentine Open. All of these players are on teams that play twice in the first week of the tournament. This is huge to start strong and push yourself to the top of the standings for the sweet Ellerstina helmet!
Guillermo “Sapo” Caset – is a machine. He played one less game than Ellerstina and La Dolfina and still finished in the top 5. He is someone you want on your team for as long as Las Monjitas is in the tournament. He is 3rd in almost every major stat look for him to carry your team in the first week.
Valerio Zubiaurre – this guy came out of nowhere and lead the Hurlingham Open in goals scored from the field. He is super cheap at 12k and finished inside the top 10 overall. He should be considered in every lineup.
Alejandro Novilla Astrada – while he finished 14th in the Hurlingham he is the best player from La Aguada. They play twice in six days so having some La Aguada player on your team is 100% worth even if it just for the first week!
Diego Cavanagh – is the clear leader of La Dolfina Polo Ranch and one of the best players not on Ellerstina or La Dolfina. He finished inside the top 10 for the Hurlingham and should do the same for the Argentine Open. I am not sure if you want to keep him for both of his first two games as they play La Dolfina on the second weekend but he is definitely worth at least one week!
