True Player Value
One of the most interesting stats that we have been gathering that shows a players true value on Fantasy is their points per $1k of value.
If a player worth $40k makes you 40 points and a player who costs you $20k only makes you 30 points, who is more valuable? While Player A may be making you more points he is taking up a significant amount of your overall budget. Player B may be earning you fewer points, but you are saving $10k which could be spent elsewhere to make up and even surpass the deficit. It is important to look at all the values when you are choosing. Don’t be drawn in automatically to those star players with the high price tags and high overall point scores.
Here we look at the Fantasy players from the Queen’s Cup ranked by their efficiency and I think you will be surprised:
